Christian lives in Cedar Rapids with his wife Jenelle and 3 young children. Christian is Managing Director of Capital Markets at AEGON USA Reality Advisors and serves as President/CEO of Corridor Recovery, helping with flood recovery efforts in Eastern Iowa. Additionally, Christian Chairs the Small Business Task Force and was appointed by Governor Culver to the Generation Iowa Commission, of which he currently serves as Vice-Chair.
Christian graduated Underwood, IA High school at age 16, received a B.S. in Statistics, Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University in 1996 and then studied at Dartmouth, receiving his MBA in statistics from the Tuck School of Business, with distinction. Not bad when you consider he didn't speak his first words until age 4!
Christian serves as a Deacon and Board Member at River of Life Ministries and with all his extra time and energy, trains and runs triathlons too!
Whether you're a policy maker or business owner here in Iowa, I would suggest Christian's 4-part series on the Iowa Economy is a MUST READ! It's not every day that you have the opportunity to learn from an Ivy League trained economist and it's our great privilege to introduce this series for your careful review and study. As the state legislature considers economic and fiscal policies for the next budget year, I would highly encourage them to digest Christian's tome of strategic thinking!
Christian Fong is a name you should become familiar with...it's new young leaders like him that lift my expectations for the future of conservatism and our great state!
